The fashion week season is upon us, kicked off by Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2021 (22-28 September), followed by Paris Fashion Week Womenswear (27 September – 5 October 2021) and moving on. Though the homegrown fashion bodies Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and the Lakmé Fashion Week, jointly run and organized by Lakmé, and IMG Reliance Limited, are not part of the global cycle, the timing does coincide and overlap.

Delhi based senior fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani will open the fashion week with the digital showcase on the 5th October, 2021 and the physical fashion show on the 7th October, 2021, with a showcase of his Autumn/Winter2021 collection, ‘The Reunion’.
