The Italian watch brand ‘Just Cavalli’, present in India with AP Group as local retail partner and distributors, announced its expansion plansat a press event held in New Delhi. The brand also announced its plans to launch 50 new variants in their best-selling serpentine collection; declaring a spectacular 6X growth over the last six months.
AP Group COO, AdiShroff flew in from Mumbai to speak with the media, about the brand’s growth strategy and expansion plans for this year 2021.He said that while many brands have been reducing their offline presence; AP group has a robust expansion strategy, brimming with confident growth and response to their offline business. The plans include opening of 200 offline stores in India in the year 2021, besides boosting online sales of the watch.
Adi Shroff expressed very bullish sentiments about the performance of Just Cavall watches. He said, “Just Cavalli is in the category of affordable luxury with prices ranging from INR 15,000 –25,000. This and the serpent design make it very appealing to the buyer.” Speaking of consumer response, he said, “Last year was full of challenges for retail at large, but we at AP Group have done fairly well on the market share side, and we intend to invest in the new product development to keep ahead of the curve. In just the first two months of January and February 2021, as compared to 2019, we have grown by about 12% across all our products. Year 2021 is going to be one of the better years.”
