The Natural Diamond Council (NDC) India has been hard at work to promote natural diamonds, collaborating with influencers from media and entertainment industry. The latest in their initiative is a virtual Diamond Festival, on August 20 and 21, 2021 for which NDC has collaborated with Vogue India’s digital platform.
The online event will host conversations with Lucia Silvestri, jewelry creative director at Bulgari, Francesca Cartier Brickell, author of The Cartiers. Actor Aditi Rao Hydari, upcoming actor Alaya F and the actor from down South Malavika Mohanan. Also interacting will be fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Vogue’s international editor-at-large, Hamish Bowles, marketing executive Kaustav Dey, supermodel Nidhi Sunil and jewellery designer Hanut Singh, weigh in on the rise of ungendered jewellery. A panel with Francesca Cartier Brickell, the Maharani of Baroda Radhikaraje Gaekwad and jewellery and art curator Amin Jaffer will discuss about the relationship between royals and their diamonds.
